The Network of Black Business & Professional Women is a progressive women’s organization that supports women in achieving success in their business, professional, financial and personal life.  

To be the organization of choice serving the Black community’s business, professional and economic development needs.  

The Federal Black Employee Caucus (FBEC) supports efforts at the national, regional, and local levels to address issues faced by Black federal public servants.

Operation Black Vote Canada (OBVC) was established in 2004 as a nonprofit and multi-partisan organization that supports the election of Black people to public office. We do this by educating, motivating and advocating for Black Canadians to participate in Canada’s government, agencies, boards, commissions, civil service and in Canada’s political process at all levels.

Having worked for over 25 years on his own self-started businesses and projects, Founder and Executive Director Luckner Thermonvil saw firsthand the struggles faced by Black entrepreneurs in Canada; they were far more likely than other business owners to go bankrupt or stagnate, had greater difficulty gaining exposure, and were subject to discrimination by the communities (and authorities) which they served.
